Toda trasformación en tu vida comienza con una decisión. Stephen Covey afirma en sus presentaciones que “No somos producto de las circunstancias sino de las decisiones que tomamos”, es por ello que en ellas tenemos el poder de transformar y tener la vida que queramos.
El poder transformador de una decisión es la llave maestra que abre muchas puertas, es que no puede suceder nada si no decidimos que suceda, por lo que está en nuestras manos decidir construir o destruir, dejando a la liberta de entender que decidir es una herramienta vital para crear futuro.
¿Qué debes hacer hoy, para cambiar el mañana? Nos podemos atrever a decir que todas las decisiones que hemos tomado, son las que han determinado nuestro presente, por lo que detenernos siempre a pensar en el impacto de mis disposiciones para decidir.
El tomar una decisión para lograr una transformación, implica una cantidad grande de retos en donde el compromiso, como capacidad para la toma de consciencia y cumplimiento de metas, dónde no se admite la excusa para abandonar, solo la flexibilidad para buscar nuevas rutas si fuese necesario.
Detenernos en el camino es siempre valido, si este lo hacemos como estrategia ¿Qué he conseguido hasta ahora importante? Seguramente aumenta el inventario de fortalezas que se mostraran al final como parte de transformación.
El acto de la decisión está ligado al error, sin embargo, cuando nos negamos la posibilidad de fracaso, estamos, renunciamos a la probabilidad que llegue el éxito, pues no asumimos el riesgo de salir a su encuentro. Solo es pensar que no hay buenas ni malas decisiones, sino experiencias, si nuestra expectativa es que debemos tener todo lo ideal necesario y garantizado para dar un paso hacia adelante pues estamos ante un conflicto mayor, debido a que nunca sabemos que es lo ideal o que hubiese sido lo correcto para no fallar.
Una vida productiva es aquella que ha dado frutos y alegrías, y no se ha quedado en lo inactivo o en la semilla que nunca germinó. Adiestrarnos para la frustración y el error nos ayuda a desdramatizar las consecuencias de cada decisión. Decidir supone equivocarnos, errar, tachar, volver a dar trazos, triunfar, alegrarnos desarrollo, avance y crecimiento, por lo que siempre será mejor una vida cargada de adrenalina que una inactiva y triste.
Las maneras de trabajar para lograr una buena toma de decisión son las siguientes:
- No le des mucha vuelta a la decisión, debido a que alargar el tiempo para decidir, ocasiona mas indecisión.
- El tiempo para la toma de decisión debe ser el necesario y sobre todo el inteligente para lograr la reflexión y medir los pro y contras.
- Una vez tomada la decisión actúa, sin mirar lo que dejaste por fuera de la elección. Debes tener claro que en el camino puedes hacer ajustes.
- Prepárate para el error y también para el éxito y acierto. Por lo que en tu banco de preguntas deben estar ¿Qué sucedería si esto se da o no se da? ¿Qué estoy dispuesto a hacerme cargo de los desafíos y retos de desarrollo y crecimiento que voy a obtener? ¿Y si no se da como lo pensé, que haré? ¿Cómo celebrare el éxito de la decisión?
El poder es la capacidad de acción, para poder obtener esa capacidad hay que tener muchísima información y ella redundara en la calidad de las decisiones, y eso sí, No tomes una decisión permanente por una emoción temporal.
